Kind of a truly mixed bag of political and celebrity supporters, and this doesnt include those who have donated millions to the center.
It will be dependent on tourism and having these people behind it should help that.

I know a lot of p[eople feel that way Jumper, but it's built and it's gonna open on time so even those who feel that way need to hope it does well.
But, we really need to fill that big hole down there between it and the ballpark with another "something" to get people to come to that area. Currently, people leave games, get in their cars and go elsewhere (Covington, Newport, or somewhere closer to home) they need to keep that in mind if they plan to attract tourists. I got some feedback about that from some fellow Cub fans who were in town for the opening series this year. They were all fairly impressed with GAB, but realized there was no around the park life at all.

I do think it's interesting that this nation's history of slavery is scrutinized to the hilt. You'd think we were the only ones to have it.
If I understand history correctly, Brazil was by far and away the major port for incoming slaves, and most of the ones that made it to our shores stopped there first.
Regardless, I look forward to seeing 50 Cent perform his special song, "Fuck You," in honor of all those who toiled and suffered to give him his freedom.
